Red face No spark - 95 Jacobsen Hauler 1100 / Ezgo workhorse

Newbie here and I don't consider myself a mechanic - just an occasional wrench turner.

I got what appears to be a 96 Jacobsen Hauler 1110 (If I read the model number right) which I understand is basically an ezgo workhorse. 350 engine. It has been sitting 5+ years in the rain so it obviously has some issues.

First off - compression was bad so I adjusted the valves - both are showing about 162 right now.

Next I discovered a nest from several generations of mice in the fan housing. After cleaning that mess up, I realized the wires on the coil and pulsar coil were bad - so both have been replaced (hopefully with working parts).

Took out the solenoid and ignitor bracket which had badly corroded. Used Wire wheel /grinder to get rid of rust and corrosion on bottom along with battery connections. Tested all the wires from the ignitor to the two coils and those look good in terms of resistance. Battery in the 12.65 -13 range so plenty of power.

She turns over great, but still no fire on new plugs.

I noticed only 8 volts DC on the red wire going to the coil, so I traced it back to the ignitor. Tested the small "Hot" side of the solenoid and I'm only getting 8 volts - so I'm thinking the Solenoid is partially bad . (yes I cleaned all the contacts). Guess I need to get one on order cause I live out in the boonies.

I tried a Jumper from the Large contact that goes to the Generator/Starter to the small solenoid Hot - I'm getting full voltage to the Red coil wire but still no fire on plugs. I'm reading about 1.6 DC volts on the white side of the coil.

I've gone ahead and ordered another ignitor, but wondering if it could be something else. BTW - I've heard you can test pulsar coils by testing AC voltage but my Multimeter won't go below 100vAC

BTW - I did find a wiring diagram for the Ezgo and confirmed it looks like everything is/was hooked up as described + the orange/white ignitor is on hot and Black/white is grounded, (those weren't pictured)

Any advice or Ideas?
