2013 YRDA governor issue
I pulled my rear end to redo the internal brakes. After putting it all back together again and running it, it is much faster than before and runs rough and sputters. Something isn’t right with the governor but can’t figure it out? Any ideas?

Re: 2013 YRDA governor issue
Well, ya messed up the reassembly somehow. Governor worked fine before ya fixed it, right?
Wouldnt this be "round 2" of "whoops, I miscalculated" on this job? Might have stuck your foot in a mud hole taking this one on yourself? |

Re: 2013 YRDA governor issue
You are absolutely right but being the closest Yamaha service dealer is 2.5 hours away in my state and over an hour away in neighboring state, I decided to take it on myself being pretty handy. I have rebuilt car engines before and am not totally clueless and would have gladly taken to a dealer had one been a reasonable distance away.
