2016 EZGO Express wont accelerate forward or back

Im a novice at all this and Id appreciate some help/feedback

I have a 2016 EZGO express golf cart. I haven't had trouble with it, and it ran fairly well the day before. The next morning I tried to run it, but it would not accelerate forward or backward. I set the drive forward, pressed the pedal, and nothing happens. Even after manipulating the choke button. The same happens if I tried the reverse setting

Gas is good [ethanol free], battery has 13.1 volts registered in meter and lights, radio turns on well., the band looks in good shape.

Ive loaded a short 13 sec youTube video clip so you can see what its doing. In the video i have drive set to go forward and im depressing the gas pedal.

It's not moving forward or backward because it's not running. Do you have spark?

Well, I’m embarrassed to say that I’m not sure if I have spark. I don’t know how to test that.

On a side note, I just tested it now and I noticed I got the clutch to move inwards to engage the drive belt and it lasted for like 2-3 seconds then I heard engine sputter and it backfired a couple of time and all stopped again and started doing same thing as the you tube video I posted

Pull the plug, hook the wire back up to it, then lay it on the motor so it's grounded, then spin the motor over and see if the plug fires.
