Re: secondary clutch?
Just a couple of pumps of grease. Too much will make a mess on the belt. Condition of the sheaves is important. Are they cupped/dished? Should be smooth. This is a used clutch in good condition.

Re: secondary clutch?
Certainly change the belt out if its old. You can clean the faces of the sheaves with brake cleaner. Spray on a clean cloth/towel and wipe the sheaves until no dirt/rubber show.
