Default 295CC Gas in Oil

My cart is getting gas in the oil. The engine starts and runs, it is weak like going up hills. I have put a new carb, fuel pump and filter. I keep the oil changed. I've adjusted the valves. It does not smoke but i can smell a raw gas smell when i run it. Should i do a full rebuild? Thought about buying a re-manufactured engine also. Thanks for any advice

There are only two ways for fuel to enter the engine. Through the fuel pump pulse line, and through the carburetor.

A ripped diaphragm in the pump would allow fuel into the crankcase.
A float valve in the carburetor not closing would allow fuel to flood the cylinder, and leak down into the crankcase.

If neither one of those problems is happening, I would suspect worn out rings allowing fuel to drip down the cylinder walls into the crankcase.

Since you already adjusted the valves, do a compression test, and leak down test.

You said new carb. If it is the cheap Chinese version, I highly suspect that is the problem. These carbs are notoriously rich and leaky. Was it doing this before you you replaced the carb and fuel pump?

Yes it was doing it before i replaced the carb and other parts. The new one did come off Amazon so i'm sure it's a china version. I will do a pressure test this evening. Where is the best place to get parts from?
