High Idle cant figure out
Good Evening,
Trying to figure out my '94 Marathon. My daughter crashed it and wrecked the front end. Got that all fixed. Motor runs great however the idle is stuck at like 3/4 throttle. I have the idle screw all the way out. The govener spring all the way loose.. if I pull the arms towards idle it will to go idle but its under tension and pulls back to 3/4 throttle on its own. Can't figure it out. Any ideas? Thanks, Jeremy |

Re: High Idle cant figure out
That long linkage looks bent. Not sure if that was caused by the collision or not. Take it off and lengthen it simply by turning the end of it counterclockwise and see if that does you any good.
