97 Workhorse Wiring Diagram showing Ignitor

I know there are wiring diagrams at the top. However, I'm interested in know the physical wiring outputs for the ignitor. This machine has had many hands on it and numerous wire splices. So as I see it. the of the wires go to a connector. Then an orange wire go to the "d connector" on the solenoid. My question is, does the red wire that's pigtailed from the connector, does it to connect to the "d connector" at the base of the solenoid also? Does anyone have a clear pic of what these connections look like? The wiring diagrams I've seen don't really show the wires going into a connector, then continuing out to the components. So for me it's a little confusing and difficult to trace the correct way it's to be wired.
