Throttle response
On my 1986 ezgo gas cart, the throttle response is opposite of what it should be. If you barely press the throttle it revs up high and when you press harder it lowers. Never seen this before. Anyone have an idea of what’s going on?

When you step on the pedal, the cable at the carburetor should get longer. Post some pictures.
It should also be connected to the inboard side of the throttle lever, not the side that is closest to the air cleaner. Here is your manual, and a picture of what the throttle should look like in the closed position. |
