Default New to me 2002 g21a

Just picked up this G21. Looking to lift it. Called Jakes or should I say Buggies Unlimited now , and they have discontinued the lift kit for G21. After reading another thread on here, smallblock told someone they could use a G11 lift if they ditched the front brakes. I’m ok with doing this but just to clarify, would I have to buy new spindles and hubs to make this work?

Just take your gas cylinders to the auto parts store for matchup. You dont wanna pay yamaha prices for them, trust me......(you will get a suitable replacement for about 1/5 of yamaha price).

If you really wanna know, I'll totally get you the yamaha part numbers, but you dont want that.

Wait, I thought you got a 100 pound one already (see post #5).. didnt work? And, the part number for that was already listed, right?

OEM price was high, bought a different one, didnt say if "other different one" worked or not, asked again?

Confused.....

Don't know if this will help. The part #s for the a arms and spindles for the G11 and G21 are the same, except for the prefix...

That rule will generally apply to most types of yamaha parts, same suffix, different prefix. And as far as lift kit, look into the parts for a G28 UMAX, it was lifted from the factory, and had front brakes. The lift was made by Jake's for Yamaha, with yamaha part numbers.
