Default 2014 Y29 no spark

I was riding my 2014 Y29 (carb) and it acted like it was running out of gas, but it is. I checked and no spark and I am not sure where to start.

I should have proof read, it acted like it was running out of gas, but it did not. Fuel pump is working, it is not getting any spark and I am not sure where to start.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

New plug first, they do foul and still look ok. After that it may be coil or a wiring issue.

At the front of the engine, down low, theres a plug with 2 wires in it (one blue, one black), unplugging that plug should cause you to have spark AT ALL TIMES when the engine spinning with no way to turn it off if your carb is adjusted badly (so be careful & dont hurt yourself. If unplugging that plug does not get spark, it's a bad coil. That plug is responsible for disabling spark when it's not supposed to be running, like Key off, or Pedal not pressed. Do not buy a cheapo china coil, they are total trash, a real yamaha coil sells for over $100
