G1 Yamaha won’t start

Yes the reed assembly bolts up, has a better volume area and even the stock reeds are an upgrade over stock G1 reeds

just so I understand... I can use my reed cage and only purchase Blaster pedals? or do I need the whole assembly? Would it matter what year blaster they were made for?

and I ordered a new carb to see if that's my acceleration problem.
