G1 Some Questions for Experts

I was told by a shop owner in ohio that Yamaha was replacing engines in the early 80's under warranty due the Yamaha oil gelling up and not supplying oil to the injection system. How true this is I could only speculate

Thanks for info. I am guessing by Sevice Engine that would be a replacement engine?
