Yamaha G14 Still Won't Run.
So my buddy has a G14 that was not running right so he bought a new fuel pump and carb and installed it. Cart still would not run right so he had me take a look at it. The exhaust was plugged and no air could get through the muffler so we changed that too.
The motor will turn over really slow and will start to run but when you put the pedal to the floor it starts popping and sputtering. I have been able to fix my G14 whenever it has a problem but this one has me perplexed. I have the screw on the carb turned out 1 1/2 turns. |

When you say he replaced carb...OEM or $35 Ebay cause that makes ALL the difference... I can't tell you how many customers of mine bring me carts they are having problems with that they replaced carb with cheap aftermarket one and started looking elsewhere, only to find the carb was the only issue to begin with...Just something to consider...
