Default 2003 g22 rear end/transmission help

I found 2003 Yamaha G22 on an auction that the rear wheels wont turn. They are locked. Is this a common thing. How expensive potentially to fix it. Best and worst case scenario. I have not worked on a golf cart before, but I have done a lot of small engine repair. I'm just not familiar with golf cart transmissions/rear ends. Thanks for the help in advance.

This is not common for that transaxle. Even when run out of oil they don't lock up. They just spin freely because the gears are gone.
Possibly the brakes are hung up and not releasing.
If you pop the drive belt does the secondary clutch turn? I'm guessing not. Put the car in neutral. Does the clutch now spin freely?
Then pull the wheels and brake drums.

I agree, more likely brakes hung up.
