steve, consider a dual shock set up, sounds like you can fab the brackets.... A longer (21") soft spring rate and a normal (18") soft spring on the second set. You get the best of both worlds........

I was thinkin' about that Flint. I was looking at Craigslist today to see if I could find any really cheap non-running carts to start scavenging for springs and what not.

I think I would be looking for quad shocks, lot's more available = cheaper..... Fleabay can be your friend....

Steve, Im still thinking about the front trailing arm type setup, My thoughts are fabbing up tow arms that will bolt into the original position. Ill let you know how it comes out.

right, very similar to a truck shock. They are stud mount on the top of the shock, and eye on the bottom. I had them on my cart, they were way to much shock for the front, but the ride was pretty nice on the rear.

The one i have look just like these but red. Ive had them for about 2 years sitting in the shop. I just put them on back in november, but, i took them back off in january.
