Club Car Precedent 12v to 8v kit question
Greetings, I've got the kit and the battery box part numbers. A couple of questions: does the kit come with instructions on how to disassemble the cart, do the conversion, and then reassemble the cart? Is this a do it yourself kind of thing (you can assume that I am willing to disassemble anything but only 50/50 on reassembling anything)? Finally, rumor has it that these kits would be available from cart stores other than dealers. Did that ever materialize? I can't find the kit or battery box from anyone other than a dealer.
Thanks. Tom |

Re: Club Car Precedent 12v to 8v kit question
my suggestion is when U call CC to order , ask them what is required , what is included ...etc. .
Most of the stuff which I have seen coming directly from CC is documented/ illustrated some place . |

Re: Club Car Precedent 12v to 8v kit question
Tahoe Dawg Z71 sent me copy of instructions ( very detailed and lots of pictures ) that comes with kits and it looks very simple? He told me its only an hour or two as I remember to do the job? After doing as many as he has I'm sure its less for him.

Scottyb could probably hook you up with a kit and I am sure he is more then willing to make sure you get it done right the 1st time

Re: Club Car Precedent 12v to 8v kit question
I talked to a CC dealer this afternoon about that kit. He is gonna email me the instructions tomorrow. He said it's pretty detailed. I think he said it's about a 27 page PDF document. Also, the prices that I have seen in regards to the kit and battery bucket $345 & $71 are LIST prices. Meaning you might get them a little cheaper than that. It just depends on the dealer.

Re: Club Car Precedent 12v to 8v kit question
The price I got from my local CC dealer was about 10% off the LIST price. Like I said, it just depends on the dealer.
