I'm sure you got the micro switches wet hosing off the cart. Have you dried them with the leaf blower / hair dryer yet ? Have you tested them for continuity or are we working without a voltmeter here?

The solenoid is not polarity sensitive.
Test it by connecting pos to one small terminal and neg to the other / it should click and you can test for continuity between the large posts at this time. If it does not click or no continuity after clicking you have a failed solenoid. |

micro switch gets a very basic continuity test. It is also an on/off switch

OK ONE MICRO SWTICH IS BAD AFTER I JUMPED WIRE IT STARTED WORKING. IT
 BEEP ON THE MUTI METER. IM GOING TO REPLACE IT AFTER WORK IM ASSUMING THATS WHAT I SOAKED DOWN WITH HOSE.. |

Replaced microswitch and still nothing. checked ignition, and one of the wires was hanging by a thread. snipped and fixed, cart goes. However, now that it works, we drove it up the block and back. Lifted the seat and all of the new batteries are swelling/bulging from the short sides? Is this normal? The old batteries in the cart were bulged and we assumed that meant they were not only bad, but really bad...these are brand new batteries!! I'm attaching a picture of the bulge and our current wiring...maybe we've wired something wrong?! Notice the ground wire laying between the batteries...we don't know where this is supposed to go...Help is appreciated!!

Are "Brand New" Interstate batteries Black? I do not know, I am not an Interstate dealer.
