Angry My 2010 ST stalls before going!!!

I have a 2010 gas ez go. At times when I press the gas pedal my cart won't go. It sounds likevthe belt is slipping because it just speaks until it catches. It's getting worse and is occurring more. Please help because it gets aggravating when someone is behind me and I can't move until it catches.

Tighten the belt just a smidgen. I keep the one on our ST at work "alternator belt" tight. That is to say, roughly 3/8" play in the center when pushed down with your index finger.

Your talking about the thinner belt right. If so how do I tighten it.

The "V" belt, yes. If you look at the starter motor, you will see a nearly upright adjuster leg. Grab your 14mm combination wrench and loosen the lock (upper of the two) nut. When you have sufficient clearance to get your wrench under it, tighten the adjuster (lower) nut. Shouldn't take more than a couple of turns. All you want is for that belt to stop slipping and engage the engine. Retighten the lock nut when sufficient belt tension is achieved. It really isn't that difficult. You'll see what you need to do just by lifting the seat and looking at it.
