EZ Go Foward Reverse Switch Help!!
I have a club car golf cart that when you press the gas peddle it will move maybe a hair. As if it wants to go. I have troubleshooted all the problems as the manual requires, I have replaced the switch with another from a golf cart that was running, so I know the switch is good. All conductivity reads positive. I am stuck for answers.:help PLEASE!!!!

Re: EZ Go Foward Reverse Switch Help!!
That tells us the year and make, now we need to know the specific drive system... look at the pic Scotty posted to determine the type of drive system.
What you are describing sounds like weak batteries to me, but without the specific drive system, we won't be able to assist you. |

Re: EZ Go Foward Reverse Switch Help!!
He has tested all batteries with a tester and replaced the wiring connectors with new cable ends. He has tested the conductivity levels in the back of the golf cart with the meter. He does not know what you mean when you say "specific drive system". He knows that that there is a DS and not a Ds. This one is not a DS. Sorry, but he is learning as well. Has been in this shop for about 2yrs. and he has taught hisself everything he knows about golfcarts. He has auto mechenic exp. and has taught hisself golfcart experience from reading and doing. He doesn't know where to turn when he stumbles upon promblems like these for answeres.

Re: EZ Go Foward Reverse Switch Help!!
He has got to be pretty smart, he has got you to take him to the right place.
Have him look at the picture I posted... It is a chart that helps you determine what type of drive system the cart has, Series, RegenI or Regen II. Do that, it's simple IF you look at the chart. Click on it = it gets bigger or print it. |
