07 precedent charging?????
I just got my cart and it is a 07 precedent club car..48volt 4 12v Batteries. I put it on charge 9 hours ago and it is still at 3 - 5 amps?? Is this normal it has not been charged in approx 4 weeks....Any ideas.

If it hasn't been charged in 4 weeks, probably is normal. It's not unusual for it to take up to 16 hours to complete a charging cycle if the batteries are weak.

as long as nothing is getting real hot its ok......once they get down below 5 amps sometimes the last little bit takes forever...........................

If you measure your PACK voltage when this is happening, charger showing the 3-5 volts, your digital volt meter should read under 64 volts. Your charger is set to take them to 62 volts, (mine hits 63.8 volts just before it shuts down at the end of it's charging cycle.) |
