Overcharged
You got it... not on a purchase, but on my battery pack. Went to take off and the cart wouldnt do a thing. Pulled off the access panel and the Alltrax was blinking red. 7 times to be exact. Troubleshooter said that meant overcharging. Checked pack with charger on and was getting 60v. Checked with charger off and pack was 55.6v. Do I really have to buy a charger, or is there a simple fix? Thanks

Re: Overcharged
As long as we are talking about a 48v cart, the numbers are fine. Reprogram your Alltrax to allow 60v as your high voltage threshold and call it a day.

Re: Overcharged
Ok. I will reprogam it for the 60v. I had no idea they would get that high of a reading. I just assumed it just brought the voltage up to about 53v. That is what my alltrax is programmed for default high voltage. Sounded sorta high to me. Nice to know others are getting around the same. Thanks

Re: Overcharged
If you are using the correct charger then it should go over 60 in a 48v system. When your batteries will only hit 54-55 at the end of a charge, it's about time for new batteries. Let the charger finish.

Re: Overcharged
I checked my pack voltage last week after a charge and had 58.2V with the charger disconnected. I charged it last night so I will check it again tonight before I ride around the hood.

If you get a reading higher than that there is something wrong with the meter. |

Re: Overcharged
Just checked it and it's 51.4 after resting for about 18 hours. Looks good to me.
