Re: G1 help
Right now my choke cable isn't on. Its was missing the clip that goes on the carb. but I might try a bread tie an see what happens. Where would you find a bigger jet for the carb? I was told to run the K&N cone filter I will need to rejet it but I haven't found any jets or kits out there for it.

Re: G1 help
So I seen where some guys double the gasket at the base of the cylinder. I don't understand how that can help. Plus I'm still looking for a bigger jet to put in the Carb to see what that does.

Re: G1 help
Mine was doing the same thing, fine on flat, doggie dog up hills. I even got stuck half way up a small hill once. Changed the rear clutches to Plowman's performance setup with Plowman's belt, jetted carb, shimmed primary clutch out 1/4"....it's nice now, and I'm running 22" tires.
Also check fuel delivery. Remove fuel line and see if it's pumping out when you spin engine. Should squirt out fairly well. Make sure to block wheels or put on jack stands or remove belt for safety. Also check float. If you stall on a hill or bog down it might either be flooding or starving. Check and set float level per service manual. |

Re: G1 help
I was thinking about going over the carb to see when I rebuilt it if I didn't have something wrong. So how do you shim the primary clutch? and when I look on plowmans web site I can't anything but carts they have for sale. is there a differnt site I need to look at?
