Default ausco ameri torque brakes rub rim

I bought a pair of Ausco Ameri Torque Brakes and they seem to be rubbing the 10 in rim slightly.

I don't know what to do?

It does do it on both sides, I messed with it just now and moved the spring harness that pulls the pads back off the rotor. I am not hearing a noise, but this is what happened last time.

Last time I hit on the brakes real hard to lock out the tires, after doing that I heard a noise.

Although the catalog descriptions require 10 inch wheels for clearance, there have been reports that SOME 10 inch wheels will not clear. If you can locate the conflict you might be able to grind away some material and resolve the issue. I wouldn't try grinding on the wheels however.
