Brew, go check a belt on your street car, about that loose. Tight enough that it doesn't slip, but loose enough that it doesn't cause bearing wear.
The drive belt new is 1 3/16" across, they are considered warn out when they are close to 1 inch. A lifted car can't go that long, the wider, the better. Only one or 2 pumps of grease in each clutch zerk. Anymore, and you will have grease all over the under side of the car, as well as clutches and belt. And you will be cleaning it off. |

Body is off, Lift kit is installed, belts are changed, oil is changed, wires are run for the headlights and taillights, just need to order rims and tires and finish the body work and get it painted up, the rear seems to sit up allot higher in the back than the front (jakes 6" a arm lift) hope it levels out once I use it a little bit and get the bigger tires put on.
