Stereo Ideas
I have a G16 and want stereo. I was thinking about something like a motorcycle has but am open to all options. Not real sure I want an overhead console. All I really need is a usb input for my iphone music but I want good loud sound. I know I am asking for the world!

Re: Stereo Ideas
I know you said you didn't want an overhead console, but here is one I did.
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-y...o-install.html I also looked at these: http://www.sharkmotorcycleaudio.com/...orcycle_audio/ Ultimately I decided on the JVC stereo (no cd). I used Polk 6.5" speakers I bought the stretch plastics overhead console. It sounds very nice. My biggest complaint is the display was not made for a overhead console. You can't see anything while seated. Rick |

Re: Stereo Ideas
I bought a Shark stereo/speaker setup for my G9. Very inexpensive but sounds really good. The stereo is really small so it can be mounted about anywhere. Pretty impressed with the built in antenna and remote that came with it.

I know it looks rough but just an idea I wanted to try. I mounted this bracket in the front of the cart roof. It holds my jaw bone big jam box perfect. If you worried about sound quality & loudness it will out perform any golf cart radio that does not have a sub & amp. Drop by any Verizon store and give one a try. Bluetooth your music or calls from your phone.

Re: Stereo Ideas
Don't know if its legit or not but I bought this.. For less than 15$ for everything I'm not out much if it doesn't hold up. But on ebay its a contract so we will see how it goes.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Silver-New-E...E:L:OC:US:3160 I also ordered a marine flexible hideaway fm antenna for 5$ My plan is to mount the head unit either in the cubby hole beside the steering wheel or under the center console. The amp if needed will go under the seat, head unit may have sufficient power for the cheap speakers. I will make an enclosure underneath the roof to house 4 of the speakers. Might also consider mounting the speakers in the plastic where the forward reverse handle is if they will fit. That's the last option though since I'd have to cut holes in the plastic. Will update by next weekend if its a legit deal. |
