Emerge topping out at 16mph?
Have a 2006/2007 (says Dec2006?) Emerge with 900mi - takes off with a lot of juice, but throttles down when I hit 16mph and settles at 15mph. If I press the pedal 100% it starts dropping speed. Any ideas? Was informed it may have something to do with the Hall effects..?
Besides this, the cart rides great! |

Speed sensor fault or your controller needs re-programming

Thank you for the response. Is this something that I can do on my own? I was reading a thread about getting the cart out of "limp mode" by plugging charger in/out quickly, turning key on/off, then charging for 1min +....did this and still at 16. Best to just take it to shop? I do not have any of the GE software or cables...
