1998 G16 Top and Second ring identification
Hello all and Merry Christmas!
I'm rebuilding a G16AS and am ready to reassemble. I picked up all OEM parts from local Yamaha dealer and the STD rings (7CR-E1610-00) are marked with "SH" on top side but one compression ring has a yellow mark and the other has a green mark. The one with green marking seems to be a little brighter on the outside than the other. Does anyone which one goes in top groove (or vice versa)? Thanks in advance, Mike |

Anyone ever get an answer to this. Trying to reassemble right now and have the same question. Both rings look the same but one has a green stripe and the other has a yellow one. Please help!
