Default Lithium 48v upgrade on TXT Shuttle 6

Been needing new 6v batteries since I got the shuttle in the spring. Given I didn't have a good charger either, I decided to spend the money on the Vatrer 48v 105ah kit. Already had the 12v converter so this kit was just what I needed. $1615 to my door.

So far I'm impressed. I've gained acceleration and went from 14 to 17 mph on flat ground. Shaved 400lbs too. Will advise mileage when I know. I have stock wheels, motor, and controller.

I'm only pulling about 100amps peak, so might think about bigger wheels if I want to pick up a couple more mph.

Nice! Can’t wait to hear how well it works. You may want to think about more torque before bigger wheels. With bigger wheels(I think you mean tires) you will lose torque and carrying 6 passengers just makes it worse. Bigger wheels look cool but if you want a good ride, think about a smaller wheel with a bigger diameter tire. The wider the sidewall the better the ride.

Looks like I have about 45-50 miles range, so more riding around the neighborhood than I'll ever do!

The cart performs much better and is faster everywhere. I'm holding off on any performance mods. Very happy with this upgrade. Time will tell how the battery holds up.
