Drop in Lithium batteries to avoid EBM shutdown of the cart 2016 RXV
Hey all!
I have a 2016 RXV and want to replace my old trojans with a lithium. There are so many options for batteries out there. I know some of the batteries have BMS that will help to avoid a shutdown and sending me through the windshield (i.e. Allied 105, Roy Pow L-Series) Are there any of the cheaper lithium batteries out there that i could drop in that would NOT require me to have the controller reprogrammed and would still avoid an accident? I have my granddaughter on the cart alot and dont want to risk injuring her or anyone else. Any input would be greatly appreciated! |

It's always beneficial to change a couple settings in the controller after lithium swap. For instance you could forget to charge it, and it suddenly dies and locks the brakes.
