2006 Club Car Precedent transaxle adjustment
Hey guys,
I loosened this nut in pic and adjusted the shaft thinking this was how I could get more speed out of my cart. My question is 1) what is this and 2) how do I get the shaft back to where it was? Of course I didn't mark where it was! Thx! |

Re: 2006 Club Car Precedent transaxle adjustment
Believe it or not you are working with the right parts, that is the governor. Put a small vice grips on the end of the shaft. With the pinch bolt about 1/2 turn loose of tightened move that arm in relation to the vice grips to fine tune the speed the governor kicks in. Takes some trial and error & small movements make big changes.
