2004 Gas Club Car battery issue - please help
Hello all, new here. I recently purchased a 2004 Club Car gas precedent golf cart and have loved every minute of it. About a week ago, I went to ride the cart, turned the cart on, put it in forward, hit the pedal, nothing. I immediately checked the head lights and tail lights, and they still worked. Hooked my battery charger up, and it showed that the battery was completely dead. I let the charger charge the battery until the battery showed full, took it off, and cart was good to go. Ran fine. Yesterday I jump on it, same thing. Its almost like the battery is not being charged. Any ideas? I have been told to change the voltage regulator but wanted to ask in here first before I just start throwing parts at it. TIA

Re: 2004 Gas Club Car battery issue - please help
I changed my voltage regulator and it solved the problem. There is a testing procedure, but it was too complicated for my limited understanding, so it was easier just to change it. It's either your battery isn't charging, or you have a bad draw. Since it was not going dead before and you haven't hooked up or changed any of your electrics (have you?), then it's probably the regulator.
