Re: Club Car Amp Controller
So upgrading to a 400 will bring some more speed and can be done without changing my motor? Thanks

Re: Club Car Amp Controller
Mine is a series motor so I guess I won't be going that route. Thanks

Re: Club Car Amp Controller
I have an IQ cart & the motor has been rewound for speed. It will takes a stock cart on setting #3 to 22mph.... That might be an option for you if you can stand to give up a little torque?

Re: Club Car Amp Controller
Similar situation, so hopefully the thread jacking is okay rather than starting a new like thread:
Is the controller on a 2004 IQ cart also a 275amp? Mine is a 2004 villager 4 IQ. I'm getting an alltrax 400amp controller for it and wondered how much more torque I'll gain. I currently have the high speed code and get 20mph on flats and 14mph up moderate north florida hills. Am going to 3" lift and 20" tires and simply want to maintain at least what I have now. Have 4ga wires all around and stock motor at moment, but plan to also do HD solenoid and maybe a PQ or similar motor. Will the 400amp in my case be enough to basically keep what I've got now after the lift, or maybe even provide some improvement? |
