Default Best way to wire in Spot Lights for Workhorse

Hi all what is the best way to wire up spot lights for my 2003 gas Workhorse?

I am not to sure about auto electics, should I try and go directly to the battery with a inline fuse or through the carts fuse block looks like only 3 out of the 6 terminals / fuses are in use.

Looking to run 2 x 130 watt four inch spotlights, will I need a relay? I bought a serious battery that will handel the lights I just hope the generator is up to it.

Lights will not have too much use but just good to have them in case. I am running a switch in the dash to turn on them when required.

Thanks.

Use a relay. A 5 pole, 30 amp will do. Single Pole, Double throw. Most light kits come with one. The inline fuse is a good idea for the switch. Ground to the battery, especially if the lights are hi-current/wattage. The below link should help:

Thanks yellowhorse7

Thats the way I will go with, it is so much eaiser working on the wires when all of your body work is off the cart.

Mate did you get your starter / generator all sorted yet ?
