Serial number G22 & I.D the 357 engine.
Guys, i'm flying interstate to pick up a golf cart & the owner can't find the serial number....it's supposed to be a 2003 G22 Gas.
It belonged to his late father. I've done a quick search but i'm running out of time. Is there a positive way of knowing it's a G22 & can you tell the size of the motor ( is it stamped somewhere?) Sorry for the newb question, it's all new to me. Thanks, George. |

The suspension would be easiest way to tell if it is g-22.
G-22 spindle mounts to shock. G-16 spindle mounts to a arm. |

Yamaha says: 2003 G 22.
Top left corner parking brake. Rack and pinion steering 357 cc motor. And what Craig said, spindle mounts to shock. |

Thanks Mike, are these the only one's with rack & pinion?
Is it like a strut front versus a-arms on the older one's? |

I believe 03 is when the rack and strut sus. started.
Shmo says, he didn't like the $300. Jakes lift on his 22. So he replaced it with a Jakes long travel lift,$750. Just so you know. |

Shotgun, the $300. lift was a spindle lift. Shmo didn't like it. I needed to tell you that.

i found out it was an earlier model, not a G22.....Thanks for the help, now back to the classifieds....the search continues!! |
