Haven't tried it yet. Got it with a cart that I bought as a parts cart. It was opened up to the weather alongside the controller, pot box and solenoid. Just wondering what sort of a charger they were. I am not familiar with this model. are they good, bad or just plain ugly?

Is it like this one? I am guessing it's just a 36v automatic charger...

It has a durable transformer, and durable diodes. If it doesnt work its probably the control board. OR >>> #1 thing to check, low cart battery pack voltage (24v or less). If the batts arent low voltage, and it starts and charges, keep it and use it, it is not a troublesome charger in my experience. This charger, and almost all automatic chargers wont turn on if the cart batteries are too low voltage.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

It is a Ferroresonant Transformer type charger with automatic shutoff.
The same basic charger has been produced under several brand names and other than the color of the case and faceplate and a few bells and whistles, they are the same charger.

They are nearly indestructible and 100% repairable. However, if the transformer is bad, it is cheaper to buy a new charger.

I'd pop the case, clean out the bird nests and let it dry out good before trying it.

Jake snake's picture is the one. As for Johnny B's advice, I blew all birds nest and other crap out and will have to change ends before trying it. Have got it in a dry place for now. It has a different end on it and i haven't got time to change it at the moment. I am up to my ears trying to recover from bronchitis at the moment. Thanks for the info. Later, Gene

It probably wouldn't hurt to let it dry for a couple of days. Water may have made its way into the transformer windings, and may look dry on the outside but still be a little damp inside.
