Default Battery voltage levels on a Drive

I have read a lot about batteries and voltages.
My question is what should the voltage be at full charge for a 48V cart?
I installed one of those digital voltage meters. The kind that just has the bars, which doesn't tell you a lot.
How often should I charge the batteries? Do these have a memory? Is it bad for the batteries to drain so much to where the cart won't move?
Thanks for everything

50.93 = 100% soc, although it is normal to see batterys sitting at 51.5v shortly after charger shuts off. It is horrible for your batteries to allow them to be discharged to the point the cart wont move. Charge them every week or 2 when not used, when used for any considerable distance at all, plug it in when you get home. It is hard on the batteries to fully deplete them (last two leds flashing) every time before charging, but i feel it is beneficial every 6 months to do so.

Thanks.
I read the battery info on Scotty B's site. Explains alot.
Was curious because this is my first Electric cart. Some friends at the campground would let they're cart go dead, then charge it. I didn't think it was good for them.

I picked up my cart last week from a dealer. They let the carts sit outside all winter without charging. They put it on the charger before I picked it up. I drove it a bit, not much, and put the charger to it. A couple of hours after it was done charging the voltage was at 50.0. I haven't charged it since, but the battery meter shows full charge. I will verify the voltage tonight, just for kicks.
I just hope they didn't hurt the batteries. They told me it will take a few charges to get them back to full charge. We'll see.
They also said they turned up the controller to 19 mph, when I first drove it, I GPS'd it at 12. after the lift and tires it was 16. But it was like 25 degrees out.
