89 Marathon cranks but won't start
Greetings everyone. I tried searching the forums for an answer, but did not find what I needed. I installed a 6" lift kit and 22" tires today. Started it up and drove around a little bit. Then it lost power and died. Cranks but won't start. Have spark. Have new fuel filter. Then I found the rubber fuel line from tank to pump had pulled off the steel line. It was too short after putting the lift kit on. Added a longer fuel line, still won't start. Pulled line off cerb and cranked, no fuel. Pressurized tank but still no fuel. Tried cranking while pressurizing, no fuel. Disconnected fuel line going to fuel pump, pressurized tank, fuel flowed. so, fuel into pump but not out of pump. Any ideas. Thanks

Fill the rubber line going from the steel line, to the pump with fuel.
Also, disconnect the line from the pump outlet and fill it with fuel. This will fill the carb bowl and allow the pump to prime. |

Thank you for your help. Tried it 3 times. So I'm thinking fuel pump.
