Unhappy Hard to start

Have a 1992 club car, put new brushes in, new air filter, spark plug, and adjusted the valves. Still hard to start. Any answers.

Thanks

Clean the carburetor jets and entire thing extremely well.

Check the compression, low compression would also make it hard to start.

What did you adjust the valves to? .005 is the most widely accepted figure.

Have not cleaned the carburetor jets, or checked the compression. Did adjust the valves to .005.

What should the compression be. Just bought the club car about 2 weeks ago.

Anything under 150 would cause me to be concerned. 180 is the norm.
