Default Leaking throttle shaft on a 1982 EZGO 2 stroke, is there a fix?

Or is it just carb replacement?

I should have a 3pg engine, correct?

82 should be a 2pg. As far as the shaft, I assume you mean the butterfly valve?
Try some black RTV. (long shot) If not rebuild it or new.

I kinda figured it would require a replacement, there is usually no fix for carb on a car when the shaft is the vacuum leak. Bummer are there any carbs out there for under a 100 bucks.

Does anyone make shaft repait kit? Something like drilling out the body and pressing in proper sized bushings?

Just grasping at straws, that's all.
