Made the change to 48!!!!!
All I can say is HOLY CHIT!!!!!!!
The Alltrax 500 was nice. The D&D 76-51 is cool. The combination of those with 48 volts is nothing short of incredible!!!!!!! I have not run the GPS yet - or completely charged the batteries for that matter. Seat of the pants estimate has to have me a high 20's to low 30's. Any real desire for torque had pretty much been addressed by the controller change already - but now I have more than I could need. Speed is unreal. Alltrax and D&D should insist on using their products exclusively with 48 volts or higher! If you have an upgraded controller already and have not converted to 48 - do it. Do it right now!!!! I actually went into the computer settings of the controller to help me slow down - the brakes don't like to stop you from that speed!!!!!!!! |

Re: Made the change to 48!!!!!
my cart wasn't running when I bought it so I have no idea what it was like at 36v, I'm running stock motor and 480 amp controller, it will pull anything, top speed is not that great with 20" tires I would say upper teens or loow 20's.

Re: Made the change to 48!!!!!
Blue chip....you should try 108 volts. LOL! Nate runs even more at 144 or 168 and chances are he has experimented with more than that.

Re: Made the change to 48!!!!!
I'm not as high as Nate but I gave him a run for his money at the Bonanza.
My 72 volts is good enough for me and the price was right also. I get to enjoy it all the time where Nate has to be carefull with it, it will scare the you know what out of you if you forget and take a turn with 120 volts wide open! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuSVv...lol::lol::lol: |

Batteries not off of a fresh charge - volt meter shows 1 bar down...
