Re: Who has the oldest cart here???
This isn't the oldest, but it is definately one of the cleanest vintage carts I have ever seen - here are some updated pictures. Since I sold my workhorse and I still need a cart to spray my yard with, we added a cargo box to the 1977 Legend electric. With some slight modifications and a receiver hitch mounted to the cargo box for the spray boom, I now have my new yard machine!

The color looks to be 'rasberry'. Everytime I see it, I can't make up my mind, Do I want icecream or yogart?

Re: Who has the oldest cart here???
The first thing my wife said last night when I brought it home was - Are you going to paint it? The sprayer works great - Roady is hooking me up with a voltage reducer to give the 12volt pump around 14 volts. That should boost the pressure somewhat! The three wheeler turns on a dime - just what I need to spray around those flower beds - Ha...

Re: Who has the oldest cart here???
Greetings from the land of Gars. I brought home a 3 wheel Melex electric from the far side of the Ft.Worth, Texas moon last night and I can't find any ID on it. The tag has been painted over so many times that removing 3 layers still hasn't gotten me any closer to gleaning it's secrets. Any down and dirty ID tricks out there off the top of anyone's head? The motor is a GEDLMA 36 volt, 57 amp and the brakes look like they are cable actuated drums on the rear. Thanks..Zzzz
