Default Fuel tank w/ pump for GSXR 600

What set up are you guys using for your GSXR 600 motor installs. Are you buying fuel cells with fuel pumps already in them or running fuel cells with an external pump.

Specifics would be great if anyone can help me out.

Thanks,

Bryan

well you have your motor in and then you bolt the electric fuel pump on the side of your frame next to your gas tank, I'm confused as of what you are asking

What i'm looking for are specifics.

1. What type of external fuel pump (PSI) and regulator (what is it set at) would I need for a GSXR 600 motor.

2. If someone has info on using a fuel cell and installing a stock GSXR 600 fuel pump inside how did you go about doing it?

3. Is there something out there already prefabbed to work with a 2003 GSXR 600 besides the stock fuel tank from the bike?

Thanks for your assistance,

Bryan

Might want to read "Frister's" awsome build, I beleive he's running a GSXR 600. Myself, Yamaha FZ6 600, I will have the tank built with the stock fuel pump internal. But, that will be built after a few more details are built for the car. Internal/ external, is up to you.

Ahh si si Amigo...

I'm pretty sure you want 4psi Max with that set up there.. Couple ways to get there ... A spensive auto type electric pump that you will need to regulate down.. Shouldnt take more than couple runs to find the g spot - you need a pump and regulator both available everywhere .. Prolly have the stuff you need @ napa or vato zone.

If it were me, i would run a little $28 dolla EMPI pump that runs @ 1.5psi constant then surges @ 4-5psi to keep the bowls full.. That should be just about right for those carbs. They're 36's right?

Ok... changes the game completely

You will need 43psi for that engine .. You can get a pump and regulator for about $100 if you shop around. might be able to use a regulator off of a car. I think most of them are 42-48psi.

Yep Frister's threads asked alot of good questions about FI bike engine builds, JRL is a top notch helper as is Rifter. Gixxer, do you have a build thread started yet? Remember pictures really help with questions asked.
