1999 txt series, sol. Click no go.
Did some checks on inductive throttle sensor
"Black wire should read 13-15v at solenoid activation" I got 6.2v after sol. Activation & 4.4v at full throttle "White wire should read .5 at activation and increase gradually to 1.5 at full throttle". I had no voltage. Just ohms 200 up to 350 at full throttle. What controller are you testing with?

It's working now!
Seems to be temp related. Purchased cheap dmv and kept with cart so I could trouble shoot it when issue occurred (very intermittent) acted up long enough last night to get these results from both wires at the ITS Afraid to take it out on the trails now. So hoping to get problem narrowed down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: 1999 txt series, sol. Click no go.
The controller determines what the ITS voltages are, and how to measure them.
The ITS voltage test you are using is for a Curtis 1206 controller (Series drive) To check an ITS sensor connected to an Alltrax controller, measure between the Black and White wires from the pedal box (where the ITS sensor is located) while the are connected to the controller. With pedal pushed just far enough to get the solenoid to click, the voltage between them should be 10V. With pedal on floor, the voltage should be 6V. ---------- Solenoid clicks, but no go. That symptom means the problem is in the high current circuit. F/R switch contacts are the most likely suspects. But could be an ITS issue, so Clean the in-line connector between the Pedal Box and Controller after verifying F/R switch is OK. |

Thanks JohnnieB!
Ive got this printed out and will test at next failure. Haha, If it would just go ahead and break for good I could fix it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Also, I have been running 48v (for about a year now). Does that change the alltrak/ITS voltages?

Did you ever solve your issue? I have the same set up and the same year cart running 48V with the same problem. I thought maybe the brushes were worn so I had Plum Quick redo the motor but have the same problem. Thanks

Purchased a cheap volt meter to keep with cart In order to quickly troubleshoot next time problem occurred.
Well... It hasn't faulted yet. I'm almost suspecting controller has Intermittent temperature related problem. As it's only occurred in colder temps. I'm curious what you'll find. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
