Default soleniod clicks but no power to motor

Amazing forum!! 2001 36v ezgo txt. Motor will not power on. Installed a new controller that requires ITS convertor. Solenoid clicks on. B- to M- has full voltage at low throttle. It does not change any when throttle is advanced.
Cart has new motor, hi currnet wires, controller, f/r switch and soleniod. Using advice from this forum, I have checked and rechecked wiring. I have checked voltage at points described here. The only thing I have found is the b-/m- desrepincy. Any a direction you can give would be great. How does one test the its? Thx

Can you give the make of the controller and the throttle input reading (range)
A defective throttle converter could be the issue.

(FSIP ) pin 1 needs 36-48v (+) at solenoid click to power up. This is your problem area.

Thanks Scottyb

I retested pin 1.
At solenoid click it reads 36.2 - 36.6 each time.
Where to go from here. Can the ITS converter be bypassed to test?
I rechecked wiring scheme. All is hooked according to specs.

thx

Got it!!
Focused on area you suggested. It was a bad connection on 4th (black)wire on ITS converter. It was loose from factory?? I cut it off and replaced with new crimp on. Seems to work. I am putting it all back together and will test drive.
Again, amazing amount of info in this forum!!

Glad you found it... I like this control. We use them almost exclusively in my conversion to solid state kits. But I am not a big fan of the ITS throttle signal converter. I got a few that were bad out of the box, like you did and that was enough for me. Welcome to buggies gone wild

Test drive was problematic. Cart will move slowly about half speed maybe a bit more. little power. will barley ascend modest grade. I installed DD41 motor along with the upgrade. Old motor had more torque. Is this still an ITS converter issue? How do you get rid of it. Battery pack is at 36.6v. No prior issues with ITS. All voltage test points test out ok.

thx
