You are lucky that wrench/fuse didnt burn the crap out of your hand (like flesh stuck to wrench).

Re: Major arc at solenoid connection. Did I damage anything?
I've read not to put a ground onto the cart. Should it connect to a negative or positive on the battery? That's the my only uncertainty.

Re: Major arc at solenoid connection. Did I damage anything?
Yes, never connect any wiring to the frame on a cart. Should what connect to pos or neg? The solenoid connects to Pos, and controller.

The ground. It's currently connected to the positive battery terminal in the pic above.

Re: Major arc at solenoid connection. Did I damage anything?
In the absence of common connections on the frame, or a centralized connection point, i wouldnt call it a "ground". Its Negative or Positive to me. The large terminals on the relay are nearly always Positive, including every ezgo i typically see (odd exceptions exist, like old harley carts).

Re: Major arc at solenoid connection. Did I damage anything?
I think we are getting closer to the problem. Where does this wire you call the ground go to besides the + main battery ?

Re: Major arc at solenoid connection. Did I damage anything?
Sorry guys. I saw green and thought "ground". I didn't get a lot of time to look at it last night but it looked like it ran back up front into the dash area.
