1994 36v series cart. controller or motor?

Another one dead in the water after years of service.

yes, yes i did my reading so heres where im at...

pack voltage is right at 37v after charging over night.
this is a series cart (non DCS) with the 4 pole curtis controller.

i have solenoid click once the pedal is depressed and i see pack voltage on the other side of the solenoid. 37v

the B+ and B- on the controller are reading 37v at ALL times.
i have ohmed out the FNR switch and it has good continuity.
i just did an OHMS test on the potentiometer and i have .6ohms at "idle" and 6.6k ohms at WOT.

here is the part that bothers me, i get 37v across the solenoid after the pedal click then it only drops down to 32v when the solenoid should be disengaged.

batterys are 16 months old, in pretty good shape and connections have all been checked and tightened.

motor test next?

if im getting 37v out if the B+, thru the FNR switch and to the motor pole what else is left?

just to clarify. i get 37v from b+ to the motor with the pedal down and 32v with the pedal at rest.

37v just 8 hours from a full charge is not a good sign for the battery pack. This could actually be a battery related issue. Put the DVM on the pack mains and give us the pedal up and pedal down readings with the key on - cart in gear - trying to go....

37.00 at idle.
there is no load.

does this controller shut down under a certain voltage? should i unplug all batteries and test them individually after sitting overnight?

i also just did a motor test with a 12v battery and the motor is fine in both directions.

sorry for the confusion, but i am incorrect on a few things.

these batteries are stamped 6/12 (3 years old)
and i dont know when this pack was charged. i am working on 2 carts right now and i thought this one was the one i charged last night but i was wrong. it is on the charger now.

with the solenoid on the controller failed the output test per curtis' manual. went and picked up a 400a alltrax today and off she goes.
