Default Cogged drive belt

How much faster will a cogged drive belt wear out the clutches?

My property is full of hills and I don't think the smooth oem belt is the way to go this time for my replacement.

Any insight?

Off the top of my head I don't think they wear the clutches differently to any meaningful extent, the clutches grip the belts from the sides, and I think the cogged belts just allow a more concentrated grip on a slightly smaller surface area along the sides of the cogged belt. I suppose that could theoretically have a greater effect on clutch wear, but I've never considered clutch wear as a reason for not running a cogged belt nor have I heard anyone else express concern either.
