Oh yea, the motor has run for 3 months with no issues. When this happened, my batteries in the cart were pretty low and I dont know if this could be the reason for the problem

Could be. When I did my motor test there were big sparks. Slightly melted my battery post. Maybe I did it wrong but once everything was connected no sparks. YouTube videos show sparks too so I expect they are normal.

You get your batteries charged up?

I'm experiencing the same problem with my '96. I put a new f/r switch and it worked for a day...then died again. What are the M-and B- terminals?
