Default Field Maps

I see many references to field maps, but I don't see where/how they are downloaded.

With my config, with stock motor, the controller came with some default set loaded. Is there a map more suitable to my config?

Is there a tutorial or something that a 'newbie' can review to learn about things like this?????

Thanks,
Henri

You have to ask Alltrax for them. They are not user modifiable.

You need to contact Alltrax or the vendor you got your controller from and they will send you a field map as an e-nail attachment.

The field map you have loaded is shown near the bottom of the controller tab in the toolkit software. (see attachment)

Since you are running a stock PDS motor, you most likely have "EZPDS" loaded. The "unimap-v1" field map Scotty mentioned in his Alltrax upgrades thread is something new.

The BGW forum is the tutorial.

I updated an XCT500PDS this am just to get my laptop online so it would update as well. Anyway, the short of it after the toolkit & the control updated the EZPDS map was still the map of choice for this controller.
