Re: Another Cart Won't Move Thread (kinda long)
I don't have the side mount studs like scottyb's thread, but for whatever reason I'm not getting a good connection back there. May be possible that someone wrenched them down before and turn the studs.

Re: Another Cart Won't Move Thread (kinda long)
Sometimes the contacts inside the solenoid can get burnt. It the solenoid stud gets twisted that can be a problem. Years ago I removed a solenoid on a starter and turned the studs to allow new material to be contacted. Worked for the rest of the time I had the vehicle.

That was exactly my problem. I replaced the battery cable and torqued the solenoid nut extra. Backed it off very Little and all is well. Impossible to get 2 wrenches in there to protect stud Thanks a bunch |

I have a wrench that has been ground down for just this reason. From everything I've read it's super important to have a hold back on the motor studs to prevent them from spinning.

Yes, I started another thread 'Power Surging' if you want to read through all that lol.
Ended up being the controller and then the HPD setting in the controller software. Man, I had a time there for a while, but it's been flawless since. |
